I'm the new cancer, never looked better
Who:Miles Edgeworth and Toshizou Hijikata
Where: Japanifornia courthouse. Again!
When: A few weeks after their last meeting
What: Life is going good for once! Time to smug it up
Edgeworth is feeling good.
He doesn't need to say it. His very presence announces it to the world. His posture is straight without being stiff, his pace is quick without being hurried, and there's just the faintest hint of a smirk on his lips. Every step he takes out of the courtroom oozes with self-satisfaction, like a slime trailing behind him. In short: he won his third trial. Perhaps he should be a little more stoic, perhaps he should take his victory more gracefully, but he doesn't care. He was far too focused on survival to appreciate his last win, and he fully intends to enjoy this one.
He's not a rookie anymore. He's not some idiot bumbling his way through the courtroom. He's a winner now.
